This piece of news makes we wonder. How low can TiVo DVR prices go? After all, I purchased my first TiVo for well over $200 less then two years ago. This same DVR now sells for $100! Will we ever see a time when TiVo DVRs cost next to nothing?

I bought one about 2yrs ago at Walmart on clearance (Humax DRT400 with DVD burner). With the rebate that was on, they paid me to take it!! I was so excited and told all my friends, but they didn’t know anything about TiVo and they passed on the deal. It was their loss!
