You’ve Got To Love TiVo’s Rewards Program!

Just yesterday I ordered my 140 hr TiVo from the rewards program! As I said in a previous post, I plan on giving my current 60 hr TiVo to my Mom. I’m not sure that she completely understands the benefit of TiVo however; like most people I’m sure she’ll really enjoy it once she gets it.
TiVo’s rewards program is really a great thing. In just over 5 months I’ve been able to rack up the points required to get a top of the line TiVo! If you haven’t signed up for the program I suggest you do. When I first signed up, I thought to myself how am I ever going to get the referrals that I need. Once you get one referral the rest of them start coming. I had a couple family members and several friends purchase a TiVo and use me as the referrer. After all, I’m probably the only family member/friend of theres who has a TiVo website. As you can imagine I talk about TiVo often and tout it as the next best thing since slice bread :).
Like I said before, you need to sign up for the program and get yourself a new TiVo!

I love the rewards program very much!! I’ve put about $1,200 in my pocket from it. 16 referrals = 4 iPods. Sold each iPod on eBay for close to $300 each. Thank you TiVo!!!!!

Lucky bastards. I got one referral, by dumb luck really, and really haven’t run into the opportunity to get others.

[...] Along with the great people that I’ve meet, I also have received a number of new gadgets that I wouldn’t have acquired if I didn’t buy my first TiVo. Now you’re probably wondering how a purchase of a $200 TiVo helped me get new gadgets including an iPod Mini & a 140 hr TiVo. The answer is TiVo’s rewards program! If you haven’t already signed up for the rewards program I highly recommend that you do. When I first signed up back in August ’04 I never would have guessed that I would be able to get enough referrals to receive a free TiVo and an iPod Mini. The only problem with getting so many referrals is that once you referrer somebody, you by default become their TiVo guru. I can’t even tell you the number of times that I’ve received a call from my buddy or my Mom asking me a question about their TiVo. [...]
