TiVo Conference Call
TiVo’s latest conference call contained mostly good news for TiVo. According to the call, TiVo added approximately 419,000 total subscriptions. Out of the 419,000 new subscribers, 316,000 of them are from DirecTV.
Along with the added subscribers, TiVo also mentioned the fact that TiVoToGo will be released by the end of the year! Although we already knew this, it’s good to hear it directly from the CEO :).

Would have been nice to hear something definitive. I’m glad at least that he mentioned it would be out by the end of the year. But I would have loved to hear something like “it will be rolling out during the week of….”. But then again it is still in beta testing, there is a possibility something could spring up and delay the launch. I still feel strongly that they need to have all their guns loading going into the holiday season. TiVoToGo could provide a lot of ammunition.
