MeeVee.com has teamed up with TiVo to offer online scheduling via the MeeVee website. With this announcement, MeeVee has joined Yahoo!TV, TVGuide.com, Zap2It and TiVo.com all of which provide a similar capability on their website.

Which remote scheduling website do you use? I’m a big fan of TiVo.com and I honestly haven’t found a reason why I should switch to one of the other third party options. In any case, it’s great to see TiVo continue to form partnerships. I guess if you’re a MeeVee.com user it’s nice to have this option available to you.

Zap2it recently announced that you can now schedule recordings of your favorite programs by linking your TiVo to a Zap2it.com account.
Requirements
1. Zap2it.com account (Don’t have an account? Register for one!)
2. TiVo® Series2™ or above DVR* with active TiVo service (Buy a TiVo DVR here)
3. TiVo.com user account (Register for free here)
*Not available for DirecTV subscribers who have TiVo service as a part of their satellite subscription. You must have a standalone TiVo® Series2™ DVR or above to use this service.

Personally, I prefer TiVo Central Online over Yahoo! TV, TVGuide.com and now Zap2it.com. In any case, it’s great to see that Zap2it has added this feature to their website. Competition is always a good thing…

Earlier today, Stephen Mack (director of TiVoCast operations) announced that TiVo has added Ultra Kawaii to their TiVoCast lineup. Ultra Kawaii’s moto is as follows:
Our simple goal is to showcase the cutest pets on the planet every week. How do we find our stars? From you. (They’re your pets, silly!)
You can subscribe to Ultra Kawaii via TiVoCentral online or by accessing the following menu item on your TiVo: TiVo Central -> Find Programs -> Download TV & Movies.
Ultra Kawaii hasn’t peeked my interest however, I am happy that TiVo continues to add additional content to the TiVoCast service. I personally would like to see some Revision3 shows on TiVoCast. What do you think Stephen? Can you make that happen?

Another day another TiVoCast channel… This time around TiVo has added VOD Cars (www.vodcars.com) and highlights from the Speed Channel (www.speedtv.com) to the growing list of TiVoCast content.
VOD Cars is the #1 Broadband Car Network. We take videos that YOU shoot, edit, & submit to us, and then package them in to great episodes
Neither of these new additions interest me however, I’m sure there are some people out there who are interested. Nice job TiVo! Keep the new content coming…

If you’re at all like me, you’re always looking for new shows to record on your TiVo. Thankfully, TiVo Central Online has you covered. On a weekly basis, TCO publishes a list of the 25 most recorded shows. If you don’t find any new shows in the top 25 list, you might want to take a look at the Guru Guides. In case you don’t know what the Guru Guides are, here’s a description take directly from the Guru Guides webpage:
- Guru Guide™ Recommendations are lists of the best television programs, hand selected by experts in categories you care about.
- Guru Guide™ Recommendations automatically record show suggestions. Recommendations are updated over time, so you’re always sure to record fresh programming.
- Guru Guide™ Recommendations are sent to your DVR at low priority, so they won’t conflict with your existing Season Pass™ Recordings. These recommendations typically record between 2 and 5 hours of programming per week.
How do you find additional content to record? Do you use another website or do you pretty much stick with TCO?
