That’s right, Big Lots is offering a Series 2 dual tuner TiVo for $69.99. After you receive money back from the $150 Fall Rebate (PDF), you will
actually make $80 ($69.99 - $150)!

Both of my local Big Lots have TiVos in stock. On my way home, I went ahead and pickup two DVRs so that I can replace two of my existing single-tuner TiVos. I also told one of my close friends about the deal and he purchased two DVRs as well.

TiVoLovers has the scoop on a $200 rebate for the Series 3 TiVo (PDF). The rebate is valid from Sept. 16 until Jan 26th, 2008. If the rebate were available today, you would be able to get a Series 3 TiVo for $399.99 ($599.99 - $200).

This new price now makes the Series 3 a reasonable purchase when compared to the TiVo HD. If you’re thinking about getting a Series 3 you might want to wait until this rebate is available since it will save you a considerable amount of money.

Starting now through Sept. 23rd, Amazon & TiVo are offering free early access to four of NBC’s hottest new shows (Bionic Woman, Life, Chuck & Journeyman). Each of these shows can be downloaded to your TiVo at no cost. To start downloading the shows, all you have to do is access the Unbox application on your TiVo (TiVo Central –> Find Programs –> Download TV & Movies –> Amazon Unbox –> Free Downloads).

Remember back in July when I blogged about how TiVo was offering a Series 2 DT DVR along with a free TiVo wireless adapter and a $15 Amazon Unbox gift all for only $97.94? I just found a coupon code which allows you to receive 10% off of the price of Roxio Popcorn 3. With this code, you can get Popcorn for $44.99. Amazon has a better price ($42.99) unfortunately, at the time of this writing you can’t download the software directly from Amazon so, if you want to save a couple of bucks you will have to wait for Amazon to ship you a CD.
