It looks like the 11.0c update includes more than just pause menu ads and Swivel Search integration. Earlier today, I discovered that you can now add a Netflix Watch Instant shortcut to the Now Playing list. To activate this feature, simply go to the following menu item on your TiVo HD or Series 3 DVR: TiVo Menu –> Video on Demand –> Netflix –> Show in Now Playing List.
Has anybody discovered any other features that were included in the 11.0c update? Let me know…
This just showed up on my Tivo HD and I still have 11.0b. It said I could add the Netflix folder to Now Playing upon the next service connection. I forced a service connection and it showed up immediately. I checked if that upgraded me to 11.0c and it did not. Not sure how it worked.
Strange….maybe it’s not included in the 11.0c update?
Thats awesome. I quite often forget about the netflix thing when Im just killing a little time and looking for something to watch.
I noticed that the Netflix folder showed up in my Now Playing list tonight while watching TV. Thing is, I don’t have a Netflix account.
It showed up on mine without being requested the other day. I turned it off.
Didn’t work when I follow the instructions to activate, even after three times. Activation seemed near instantaneous on both Netflix website and on Tivo, but error appeared on Tivo. No relavent customer support info on-line for the issue on NetFlix or Tivo sites. At least, Tivo web site says it is responsible for Account linking issues (I think that means my problem), but no email support is available, so a call is required. These are really great ideas, but if poorly implemented as it seems in my case, this is not ready for prime time.
I was able to activate the Instant Playing List but when I refresh on Netflix it doesn’t seem to push through to my TiVo. How do I update that list?
You shouldn’t have to do anything. Did the problem fix itself?
