Both ZatzNotFunny and GizmoLovers alerted me to the fact that TiVo has started to rollout version 11 of their DVR software to both TiVo HD and Series 3 DVRs.
Just today, I received a message letting me know that my Series 3 and TiVo HD have received the update. Other than one menu being renamed, it doesn’t look like a lot has changed however, I suspect that this update was put in place in order to get HD DVRs ready for the much anticipated Netflix partnership.
Let me know if your DVR receives the update and if you find anything that is new….

Got it today, nothing new that I spotted, no HD Amazon yet.
@Andrew,
TiVo just flipped the switch on their Netflix partnership. Check it out if you are a Netflix subscriber.
“… ready for the much anticipated Netflix partnership”? My TiVo HD got the new update today, and Netflix support is there *now*.
Engadget got it too:

I got the update and Netflix seemed to work for a bit, but now it’s locked up my box. Whee!
TiVo are strong-arming customer with locked boxes into paying for all out-of-warranty RMAs after pushing out v.11
They have refused to offer a roll-back to v.9.4
my tiVoHD has been useless for the past 2 weeks and I’ve spent over 6 hours on phone calls with TiVo. TiVo: you reading this? See case number 1046-8582.
I’m posting my bad experience on any blogs I can. I encourage other customer who have had similar problems to do the same. It seems that shame may be the only pressure we can apply to get this problem resolved.
what kind of issues are you having. I haven’t experienced any issues since 11 was released…
