I don’t have the time or energy to reply to this comment however, I’m sure there’s somebody out there who would be interested in posting a reply…..
Here’s my most favorite part of the comment:
Find something else worth while to complain about like how you local politicians are serving you. If people spent half the energy on worth while causes that they complain about something as trivial as their TV, maybe peoples voices would really be heard.
Sounds like this commenter should take their own advice and put their energy into something more worthwhile instead of commenting on this site….

This is too funny. I’ll have to tell my elderly parents they’re “left wing – wing nuts”.
BTW, I thought that cable cards were developed by the industry as a result of an FCC ruling to spur on competition. I could be wrong.
Don’t feed the trolls (which means don’t reply to them). It’s already bad enough you’ve highlighted this person’s comment in its own post.
Brian,
You’re probably right. I just thought it was kind of funny and that the readers of this site may find it interesting/humorus….
It’s your blog. Use the delete button.
@crankypants,
Not a bad idea…I tend not to delete a comment unless it is spam.
So many asses out there… I don’t hit ‘delete’, I hit ’spam’ – so they’re (hopefully) prevented from commenting on other sites as well. The ones that piss me off the most are the sarcastic typo police. Blogging is a labor of love and not at all lucrative for 99% of us – we devote a lot of time to our passion but don’t have editors. Cut us some slack when we make a mistake. And if it bothers you that much, just don’t come by anymore (and don’t leave a snarky comment before you go). Polite requests or corrections are fine and appreciated.
@Dave,
. Thanks!
I couldn’t have said it better myself
@Tom,
You’re right about the FCC mandate.
