Refurb Tivo HD
Second the refurb Tivo HD with external storage rather than paltry space of XL. Of course I’d take a mythical Series 4 were they to exist.
I agree. A refurb TiVo HD is a great deal!
I would buy a refurb TIvo HD and upgrade to a 1TB hard drive. 150 hours of HD recording goodness!

I’d have to agree with everyone here. I picked up a refurb TiVo HD from Woot! about two months ago for $140, and slapped a ~$100 1TB Samsung 5400rpm drive inside. 144 HD hours, ~1200 SD hours. Plus I replaced an existing S2DT so I still keep my $7/month MSD.
I’m a happy camper.
I’d get a Series2 DT because I have Satellite.
Why only a 30 day warranty at best Buy you get a year warrany free
Any Rv’ers out there running TIVO using Direct?
I doubt that I’d buy a Tivo.
I love Tive & have 3 Series-2 units, however, I’d want HD & I have Satellite, so I think that I;m screwed.
Tivo has written me off as a customer. Hard to believe….
