TiVo Launches A YouTube Channel (Plans On Hosting A Weekly Show)
Earlier today, TiVo launched their very own YouTube channel. As of right now, the channel doesn’t have a lot of content however, that will all change next week when TiVo posts their first installment of a weekly show called the “Badoop Badoop Show”.
Since its inception, the Emmy(R) award-winning TiVo service has changed the way millions of people watch TV. And coming soon: the”The Badoop Badoop Show,” a quirky show to keep you in the entertainment know with TiVo recommendations every week on what to watch, hear, download and more. This is not your average entertainment news show. And yes! The show is named after one of TiVo’s unmistakable soundmarks: Badoop-Badoop! Subscribe now for the PREMIERE of Badoop coming next week!
Needless to say, I’m very excited about this announcement. It’s great to see TiVo use a service like YouTube to get their message out.
I’ll be sure to cover the show when it launches next week so stay tuned….

Ya know what would be better? If the Tivo interface to YouTube allowed you to subscribe to YouTube channels and download those videos into the “Now Playing” area. What’s the point of YouTube on Tivo if we can’t get a SeasonPass to a channel we like?
