Recently I stumbled upon yet another TiVoToGo client for the Mac called TiVo Butler. In the short amount of time that I’ve used this app I’ve already fallen in love with it. Unlike some of the other TiVoToGo Mac clients, TiVo Butler organizes your TiVo’s recordings into groups so that you can easily select which program(s) you would like to transfer to your Mac. For example, by default TiVoButler displays a “STATIONS” group which organizes your TiVo’s recordings into folders based on the channel in which the original program aired. This feature is especially useful if you have multiple TiVos in your household all of which have been upgraded to include more disc space (ie: I record way too much stuff).
If you’re looking for a free Mac TiVoToGo client you are definitely going to want to download TiVo Butler. From what I’ve seen the app works really well even though it is still in beta.
For those of you who are keeping track, I’ve gone ahead and updated my “Mac Software Roundup” to include this app.

Tivo Bulter ROCKS! I’ve been using it for a while. I think it is the best application out there for the mac and tivo.

I’m a new Mac user and I downloaded this thanks to your suggestion. More to just play with it and see what it can do. I never really use any sort of Tivo Desktop client because I don’t frequently watch TV programs on the computer and also it is painfully slow over a wireless G network.
rafael, what do you think of TiVoButler?
I haven’t played with it much yet. I installed it and was impressed with the main page, but once I saw the huge files, I did what I usually do.. run! Once in a while I find a reason to download a TV program. I’ll give it a go sooner or later.
Right now I’m on my PC (work) and will be away from my lovely MacBook for a week or two. I didn’t feel like carrying around both notebook computers while traveling. :~(
I tried downloading the first program from TiVo Butler today and after 2.5GB and during the MP4 conversion it crashed! mencoder specifically. I sent the details to the developer.
