All I can say so far is that this update SUCKS (all menus transitions are still slow and pressing the TiVO button takes at least 5-10 seconds before the main menu comes up)! I think the UI speed improvements apply only to Series3 TiVOs and this is confirmed on other boards (dealdatabase.com etc.). I am pretty disappointed with this release...seems my UI is even a bit slower than when I was running 9.1! Hey – I just got this 9.3 update installed on my StandAlone Series 2 TiVO. I am so sick of missing shows that it doesn't record that I have stacked my SD TiVo dvr ON TOP OF THERE NEW HR20 DVR! I have to pay extra every month, but my TiVo seldom misses a recording, tho it is in SD. I keep praying that DirecTV will come to there sences and finally see that there attempt to copy a TiVo is making there customers MISERABLE and out a deal with TiVo for a new HD TiVo based DVR that acually works for a change! It feels like I'm using 80's technology when I try to browse my pc via the tivo. My modded xbox is almost instant when i do that sort of thing.
