Tis’ The Season To Own A TiVo (Part 2)
Thanks to a couple of DVDs that I created back in 2005, my son and I were able to watch Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer last night. I’m really glad that I took the time to create these DVDs since my son and I had a lot of fun watching this show. Tonight, we’re probably going to watch either The Grinch or Frosty….

Is there a guru guide for the holiday shows?

I wish! All I did was go to TCO and perform a search for “Holiday”, “Christmas” and several other search terms.

So, after unsuccessfully trying some free ways to burn dvd’s of Tivo shows, I finally bought MyDVD. And even that doesn’t work! Is there any trick I need to know about?
I simply opened MyDVD. Click “Add New Movie”, navigated to my .TiVo file and clicked add. I got the message “The file you are trying to use cannot be edited, and has not been added.”
What gives? I thought Tivo and MyDVD were suppose to go hand in hand?

Use DirectShow Dump to strip the DRM off the .tivo file to get the raw MPEG2, then you can use it in MyDVD.
