Roxio recently released an updated version of both Roxio Toast (v8.0.3) and Roxio Popcorn (v3.0.2). Both updates provide compatibility with Leopard and the TiVo’s 9.2 software update. This update seems to have fixed all of the issues I was having with Popcorn. It would have been nice if there never was an issue with 9.2 but, at least Roxio has stood by their software and provided us with an updated version in a somewhat timely manner. Nice job Roxio! I really do appreciate it.
Toast 8 Titanium v8.0.3:
- Resolves issue where Music DVD projects created on Leopard were of poor quality
- Resolves issue where selected video quality options were not always honored
- Error 9011 will no longer occur when burning DVD with MPEG-2 and PCM audio

Does anyone have the download of Roxio Toast 8.0.5? Roxio’s site doesn’t have it since they released Toast 10 and I haven’t gotten any help from their support system or forum. I have a Toast 8 license and am running 8.0.1 on a G5 Mac 10.4. I have started having the problem of not seeing my DVR show up in the Tivo Transfer window. Not sure if the problem is related to a Tivo 2008 Fall Season update or if it’s related to the Tivo Desktop conflicting (it doesn’t work either). Any help is appreciated.
