WeaKnees has announced that they are now shipping upgrade kits for the recently released TiVo HD. Prices vary depending on how much HD content you want to be able to record. For $159 you can currently get a 250GB drive which will allow you to record 32 hours of high definition content. If money doesn’t matter, you migh want to go with a 1TB drive so that you can record 145 hours of high definition content ($599).

Along with the upgrade kits, WeaKnees has also start to take pre-orders for already upgraded TiVo HD DVRs. Just like the upgrade kits, prices vary depending on how much storage you want.

TroyOnTiVo alerted me to the fact that Yahoo! recently updated their ability to schedule TiVo recordings directly from Yahoo! TV. The update includes a number of new features including the following:

* TiVo Series 2 and TiVo Series 3 receivers supported. We previously only supported Series 2 TiVo receivers.
* Manage multiple TiVo devices. Users with multiple TiVo devices can now program all of their TiVos through our service, choosing which TiVo records which shows.
* Easy to read receiver names. We now display your DVR name, as you’ve set at TiVo.com, as receiver name. So for users with multiple devices, you’ll no longer need to guess which TiVo box you’re recording to with a numeric device name. We now display whatever name you associate to your TiVo boxes.

The only bad thing about this upgrade is that you may have to re-sync your TiVo account to your Yahoo account.

Personally I prefer TiVo Central over Yahoo! TV. What’s your opinion about Yahoo! TV? Do you use TiVo Central or do you prefer Yahoo! TV?
