durfee.net has developed a plugin for Windows Home Server (WHS) which allows you to publish videos, music & photos to your TiVo. Unfortunately, I’m not beta testing WHS so I can’t tell you how well this work. If you are a WHS user, I’d love to hear what you think about this software. I really think it is a great idea and I hope that the author continues to update it.
The TiVo Publisher Add-In for Windows Home Server (TiVo/WHS) is an implementation of the TiVo HMO “Calypso” protocol for Windows Home Server. The add-in installs as a service, which makes your WHS music, photos, and videos shares browsable from any TiVo that supports home networking.
