My Mother in law has been wanting a tivo ever since she saw mine last year. I’d love to be able to put my spare series 2 hdd in this and surprise her.

Does anyone want my Series 1 TiVo? It works, it’s a non-upgraded Sony model…I replaced it with both a DirecTiVo and a Series 3, so I have zero use for it. It’s literally just collecting dust.

No service, though, I transferred that to my S3.

I would be interested as well. My first Tivo was a 14hr unit that I had to buy direct from Tivo back in early 2000 and I’ve never looked back. A series 2 on our basement television would be just the ticket for my daughter. She love’s the Tivo Guy :-).

I have been using a computer based pvr system for about a year and would love to ditch the computer based system for a tivo. IT would be fun to put a little work into it as I would probably have ended up replacing the hard drive anyhow. Looken for my first tivo experience, thanx.

I would love to get my hack on with this Series 2 to replace my old Series 1 that is still working away. Series 2 would allow me to get busy with some serious TiVo-To-Go and all the other goodies that are not available on my lowly Series 1.

I’d be very interested in that - I have a spare Series2 hard drive lying around that I could drop right in. If it is just a hard drive problem, it should start right up.
