Wow! I just found out something that I could not believe, and have to ask you all about it. Tivo tech support just told me that if your PC/Mac does a download and it gets interrupted in any way other than one that is known by the Tivo software —- any one of a hundred ways are NOT ‘known’ —– then the tivo desktop reports the file to be complete on the PC, and it is NOT complete! So, DON’T DELETE THE ORIGINAL!!!!

Tivo software does no file length checking on downloads at all according to them. GREAT FEATURE!

Yes, that won’t work either. Its supposedly something with the series 2 boxes. If anyone knows how to get either of these to work, would love to hear how!

It would be great if TivoToGo actually worked on the Mac…I ahve had it for months and it has not worked once..not once. I keep emailing Tivo and Roxio and get no replies, and there are tons of complaints on their message boards. I would not buy it if you can fina another option.

Have you tried TDM?
