Version 8.1 causes interrupted transfers from Tivo Unit to TivoDesktop (PC) it is a known problem for which Tivo is rebating service fees. Meantime they have no ETA for a fix. Doesn't that stink? Reference: "Interrupted transfers after version update" on Tivo's own tech forums. The list of complaints are long and getting louder.
