Update 1/4: I know I need to select a winner. Give me a chance…my son is sleeping right now
.
Update: I’m a little surprised that only three people have posted a comment thus far. What’s the matter? Doesn’t everybody like free stuff?
In the spirit of the Holiday Season, I’ve decided to have yet another contest. This time around, the winner of the contest will receive a slightly used TiVo wireless adapter.
Here’s how the contest will work. Between now and December 31st, 2006; attach a comment to this post that includes a link to your favorite article on TiVoBlog.com. In the comment, also indicate why this is your favorite post. The winner of this contest will be selected randomly by my 22 month old son (I will put each comment in a hat and let my son pick one).
Here’s some additional rules:
- Only one submission per user
- Winner must live in the continental USA
- Winner will be selected randomly from the list of comments
site’s archive or search for it via the search box in the upper right hand corner of this page.Good luck and have fun!

I think the most useful post to me is your post about TiVo geek gifts . That’s been a handy place to point several people in the last year when they wanted to get started with enhancing what they got out of their TiVo.

I’m glad you’ve decided to stick with the blog.
My favorite post of late was this one when your mom called you with a problem with her tivo: http://www.tivoblog.com/archives/2006/10/12/whats-wrong-with-my-moms-tivo/
It stuck out because my mom called me about her broken Tivo that I got her around the same time. It just reminded me of that because I could relate. The difference was that my mom’s problem wasn’t Tivo related, it had to do with the TV, lucky for her.
My favorite post was this video clip:

Hilarious, but not so far from the truth. My wife and I will totally veg on the couch for marathon TiVo-watching sessions to catch up on all of our favorite shows.
I’d have to say: http://www.tivoblog.com/archives/2006/11/06/megazone-breaks-down-tivos-new-pricing-plan/
It made a bit more sense of the whole pricing fiasco – but still basically killed the market/usefulness for old hardware. And I still don’t understand why I’d want to be locked into 3 years on a standard definition Tivo….*shrug*
My favorite post to date, believe it or not…

You’re probably the ONLY person with a TIVO blog that I heard actually stand up and state how you really feel, rather, then role over and have your belly scratched by corporate America.. I’ll all for supporting innovative companies and TIVO is certainly one of them – but don’t bite the hand that feeds you…

Because it links to me

As a newbie, I found the idea to record to dvd seasonal shows– how cool! http://www.tivoblog.com/archives/2005/11/14/tis-the-season-to-own-a-tivo/
Its all about series 3 and hd baby:

i picked this one after seeing it because my cousin is addicted to tivo and now i know what to get him.

The above is my favorite post because prior to this I had not considered Dell, a source of my home’s desktops and laptops, as a place where I can find cheap Tivo 3.

The above was my favorite post, as it announced the day when I switched from waiting for the Series 3, to waiting for the price to drop on the Series 3.

I’ve been a TiVo fan ever since winning a 14 hour model during one of TiVos first online contests many years ago. I’ve had some version of a TiVo ever since. I got in on the S3 Dell deal for $500 last week, so this link has to be my favorite as it’s what brought me here.
This is my favorite post, because until I read it I had no idea that there were downloadable apps other than those for Galleon (which is cool but a resource hog on my PC, so I stopped using it). Cool!

This is my favorite post:

I liked it because I (like some many of us) had been waiting over a year for the new TiVo to come out. It was exciting when it finally did.
http://www.tivoblog.com/archives/2006/11/13/what-to-get-your-tivo-geek-for-christmas/ is my favorite most recent post, because it lays out some cool stuff to allow you to better use your tivo
