   It’s available on BestBuy.com (and supposedly for store pick up) in my area. Lists for $799 with no mention of rebates or subscription rates.

   Does anyone know how to transfer a lifetime subscription from a Series 1 to a new Series 3 yet? I called TiVo customer service and they say there’s a link, but they don’t know how to do it otherwise. I’d buy right now if I knew for sure that I could do it.

   According to this page, you need to call this number: (866) 424-8486. Is that the number you called?

   I can’t order one w/o a 1-year $12.95 plan??! I have 3 tivos now under the multi-unit deal for $6.95 (each) a month. Are there no provisions for adding these under the same plan?

   Anyone managed to transfer a lifetime subscription from a Series 1 yet? That would reduce the cost for me and make this way more tenable.

   To get the lifetime transfer deal you must order your tivo from the link on this http://tivo.vom/vip url. You will not be charged for any pllan and you rold Tivo keeps working for another year

   I definitely want the series 3, and am dying to get it because I’m waiting to hook up my new plasma until I have the series 3…I’m wondering if I should go thru Best Buy or the tivo website? If a rebate becomes available after you purchase at Best Buy, will they honor it for you after purchase if it within a certain amount of time?
