One More Reason Why We Need A Series 3 TiVo

Here’s one more reason why we need a Series 3 HD TiVo. Wouldn’t it be great to record football in High Def?

You’ve been able to record (OTA) football in high-def for years now. Tivo’s finally catching up (assuming the S3 is more than just vapor).

I Tivo football in HD all the time. I have the Directv HD Tivo. It is not the best, and it comes with a whole host of issues and limitations, but it certainly gets the job done. I’ve been recording HD in Tivo for several years. But, I certainly look forward to the series 3.

My Tivo recorded the game last night no problem.

Good point Matt. You can record HD with a DirecTV box. I’m not a DirecTV user so I don’t consider it an option for me. I could go with satellite however, I just don’t want to switch.

Yes, it would be nice.

Of course, I’ve been doing that for two years now with my stupid Motorola box.

Yes, the software sucks dirty cheese. But it records in HD.

I gave up my TiVo to record in HD. Call me a cheater if you must, but damn its nice.
