[...] I think I may upgrade my TiVo website (TiVoBlog.com) to Wordpress 2.0 tonight. I haven’t upgraded the site yet because I wanted to make sure that I didn’t run into any problems with this site and my family site. I really like the new WYSIWYG editor and the ability to add new categories when you are putting together a post. Also the ability to easily upload pictures is really nice. This would have helped me last night when I put up pictures of the new Series3 TiVo at CES. Stay tuned… [...]

[...] In your opinion, what’s a good price point for the new Series3 TiVo that was on display at CES? How much are you willing to pay for a TiVo that has dual-tuners and HD support? I know that I would be willing to pay a lot however, I’m not your average TiVo consumer. A couple of people on TiVoCommunity have suggested that the new DVR will go for something like $500-$800! Is that too much for a DVR when you can get a crappy DVR from your cable company for ~$5.00. Will the average consumer be willing to pay that much? I know I just listed a bunch of open-ended questions however; I’m anxious to find out what other people think about buying a Series3 TiVo and how much they would be willing to pay. Let me know…. [...] Oh, it’s been a long time coming. Not one but two years ago, at CES no less, TiVo told the world that they were eager to support HD content, but at that time, the only game in town would be DirecTV’s HD TiVo. Now TiVo is finally showing off an HD DVR for the rest of us. [...]

[...] If you follow this site then you probably already know that TiVo is supposed to release an updated version of their DVR know as the Series 3 TiVo. Pricing and official details on the features have not been released however, based on some pictures that we saw from CES, it looks as though the Series 3 TiVo is a dream come for all you tech geeks. The device is supposed to have dual tuners, the ability to record HD, CableCARD 1.0 & 2.0 support, external storage, built-in Ethernet…. The list goes on and on. As you can see from some of these specs, the Series 3 TiVo is going to be loaded with everything you will need. [...]

[...] HDBeat has several pictures of a Series 3 TiVo in the wild! Apparently these pictures were provided by somebody who is taking part in the Series 3 beta program. The device looks pretty much the same as what we saw at CES. Two cable card slots and a nifty display on the front. According to the individual who sent in the pictures, the device does not yet have TiVoToGo and the cable company had to go through four CableCARDs in order to get it to work (I wonder if they were using Time Warner). [...]
