Galleon 1.4.1 Released, Now Supports TiVo ToGoBack
Leon just released version 1.4.1 of Galleon. Based on the release notes, it looks as though this version adds support for TiVo’s new “ToGoBack” feature.

Yes, but will it still eat up 200 + MB of my system memory? Maybe it’s just the fact that the thing is done in Java, but damn.
I do love the new applications, though. They’re cool, I just can’t run them.

Nice! i really love Galleon im glad it keep getting updated.
TiVo just gets better and better thanks to there SDK.

Like most Java applications, Galleon does require a decent machine. What are your machine’s specs?

I have an AMD 2600 with 1GB of RAM. I wouldn’t even mind the memory usage, but it also eats up all of my processor cycles for what seems like no reason at all. The computer will just be idling, not running any media applications, and I’m at 80 - 90 % processor usage and it’s using 150 MB RAM.
I’m still going to give it a try. Maybe it’s gotten better?
