I installed the upgrade, rebooted and even cleared out my transfer cache in WMP 10 and I still am unable to sync TiVO content. I'd say stay with 2.0 until people work out the bugs, even though there is a hack to let you use Dr. DivX and TMPGenc with the new version (involves a hex editor and a DLL). I would have problems where upon starting the app it would hang for up to 5 minutes and then come back with an error stating the obvious (Tivo Desktop is taking longer than expected to load) but i have yet to see that now... but i agree i may look at galleon too...
