TiVo has agreed to supply its’ DVR to the number one cable company Comcast (Reuters). This is obviously big news for TiVo. I’ve said a number of times (1, 2) that TiVo needed to setup a deal with a major cable company especially since their relationship with DirecTV has been shaky at best. Maybe this news will allow TiVo to reach profitability! Stay tuned for more updates.

OMFG!!!!! This is the best news since god announced he could slice bread! But seriously, this is great great news! Now lets start a Death Watch to all the “TiVo Death Watch” posts.
