TiVoToGo Upgrade Angers Some Subscribers
According to this article on CNET, some TiVo subscribers are annoyed with a couple of bugs that were apparently brought on by the TiVoToGo upgrade. Several subscribers are complaining about slow channel changing and a problem with picture distortion upon changing channels. As the article points out, these bugs are completely subjective.
I myself have experienced the slow channel changing bug however; it doesn’t annoy me that much. In my opinion, every software update brings a set of new bugs. As long as TiVo works out the issues and comes up with a fix I will be happy. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how long it takes TiVo to release a new version that fixes some of these bugs.

My menu seems to load pretty slow when I first come out of standby, other than that haven’t really noticed issues. There’s noticeable (and expected) slowdown during TTG transfers though.

TiVo right now is in the “Damned if you do, damned if you don’t” boat. I’ve never seen so much complaining and bitching over at the TCF website. People complain that they haven’t received the upgrade yet….people complain that they have received the update. oh well. I still love my TiVo!

Quite frankly I think that people seem to expect tivo to wipe their butts too! I mean tivo is AWESOME in my opinion and i work closely with several tivo customers service agents and I hear all the complaints the tivo customers have and some of them are as silly as the tivo wiping their butts!~ They use the cable company’s dvrs against tivo to try and get discounts (which in my opinion again makes them look very cheap) and complain when the slightest inconvience comes along, like they were perfect at birth! I mean come on people were you the top of the line at 5 years old?

I don’t have a blog. Your question is irrelevant to my issue with your font.
The point is, your font is extremly hard to read. The type is all scrunched together. Put a poll on the blog and lets see what others think!

Has anybody had any problems with the season pass regarding the show 24? It didn’t record this weeks episode and a friend of mine had the same thing happen to him last week…ever hear of problems like that before?
