More TiVoToGo News!
Engadget has the latest scoop on TiVoToGo. Apparently they went to the DigitalLife expo and got to see TiVoToGo in action. The article seems to indicate that TiVoToGo will be free. Is this truly the case? I thought at one point you were going to have to pay for some software.
Also, I’m a little concerned by the following statement:
…any time a television network asks TiVo to disallow this feature, or if they enable any kind of copy-protection on their broadcasts (like, by implementing Macrovision) TiVo is going to readily oblige the request.
If this is truly the case then what good is TiVoToGo going to be? As Engadget indicates how many stations are going to allow themselves to be recorded?

According to this you will only have to buy software if you want to burn a show to a dvd.
