TiVo Upgrade Kit or Do It Yourself?
I think that I’ve out grown my TiVo. I’ve gotten to the point where I am starting to delete a lot of shows before I watch them. I know that I can tell the TiVo to save it until I need to delete it however; I recently recorded a bunch of movies and I don’t want to have to worry about TiVo not recording my “daily” shows.
The thing that I’ve been debating over is whether or not I should buy an upgrade kit from one of the many TiVo upgrade sites or should I go about installing a hard drive on my own. I’m kind of leaning towards getting an upgrade kit since they give you everything you need to perform the upgrade…. Stay tuned…..
